Washing machines generate vibration, especially during spinning, and this vibration is transmitted to adjacent rooms as structure-borne sound. Tested by Empa, the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, the HAFNER ISO-SET® for washing machines and tumble dryers considerably reduces vibration and sound transmission, thus meeting the stricter requirements of the SIA 181 sound insulation standard. Rather than being banished to the basement, washing machines are now primarily used in the living space of the home. This is a cost-effective solution, and the set is easy to install. HAFNER washing machine sets are also suitable for combination washing machine and tumble dryer towers.
